Amanda Dawn Biggers, of Marshfield, and Jason Michael Joy, of Sedalia, were married at 2 p.m. Sept. 8, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Sedalia.
The bride is the daughter of John and Lorinda Biggers, of Marshfield. The groom is the son of Mike and Debbie Joy, of Sedalia.
The Rev. Marlin Brown conducted the ceremony. Amy Tilley was the pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Tara Biggers, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Mikayla Buckner and Rhianna Andrews, cousins of the bride, were bridesmaids. Marlee Stanley, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. Leticia Stanley, sister of the groom, and Alexis Walter, cousin of the groom, were candlelighters.
Blake Gerke, cousin of the groom, was the best man. Chris Balven and Adam Walter, cousin of the groom, were groomsmen. Preston Stanley, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Ethan Andrews and Dylan Buckner, cousins of the bride, and Raied Stanley, brother-in-law of the groom, were ushers.
A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents on Sept. 7. The reception was at Best Western State Fair Inn.
The bride, a 2008 graduate of Marshfield High School, received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Central Missouri in 2012. She is an assistant manager at Maurice’s in Sedalia.
The groom, a 2008 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, attended UCM. He is a salesman at W-K Chevrolet.
The couple took a cruise to the Caribbean. They live in Sedalia.
