Suzie Anzalone, of St. Louis, and Blake Atkinson, of Sedalia, were married at 2 p.m. May 27 at the Jewel Box in Forest Park in St. Louis.
The bride is the daughter of Ross and Lynn Anzalone, of St. Louis. The groom is the son of John and Sharon Atkinson, of Sedalia.
The Rev. Jason Veale conducted the ceremony. A string trio performed the music.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Jamie Anzalone, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Emily Grozdanic, Amanda Turner, and Courtney Anzalone, cousin of the bride, were bridesmaids. Izzy Rothen and Molly Flowers were flower girls.
Chance Anderson was the best man. Brett Atkinson, brother of the groom, Stewart Petersen and Britton Fields were groomsmen. JR Walter, Aaron Walter and Tanner Pearce, cousins of the groom, and Jimmy Anzalone, cousin of the bride, were ushers.
A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents May 26 at the Staybridge Suites in St. Louis. The reception was at the Whitmoor Country Club in St. Louis.
The bride, a 2004 graduate of Parkway North High School in St. Louis, received a bachelor of science degree in athletic training and minors in biomedical science and nutrition from Missouri State University in Springfield in 2010. She is an athletic trainer for Missouri State University.
The groom, a 2002 graduate of Smithton High School, received a degree in technology education from the University of Central Missouri in 2008. He is an industrial technology teacher at Willard High School.
The couple plan to honeymoon in Hawaii at a later date. They live in Springfield.
