Dan and Leta Meiergerd, of West Point, Neb., announce the engagement of their daughter, Michele Ann Meiergerd, of Kansas City, to Matthew Daniel Young, of Kansas City. He is the son of Larry and Sherry Young, of Sedalia.
The future bride, a graduate of West Point Central Catholic School, received a bachelor of fine arts degree in photography from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville in 2008. She is a manager at Target in Kansas City.
