Ashton Marie Goss and James Howard Stewart, of Camp Pendleton, Calif., were married at 4 p.m. Feb. 16 at Maplewood Church in Sedalia.
The bride is the daughter of Sandy Stewart, of Jefferson City, and Jim and Arden Goss, of Smithton. The groom is the son of Robin and George King, of Versailles.
The Rev. Eddie Brown conducted the ceremony. The bride was given in married by Jim and Jimmy Goss, father and brother of the bride.
Carmen Goss, sister-in-law of the bride, was the matron of honor. Lindsey Young, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor. Callie Goss, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
Colby Snapp was the best man. George King was a groomsman. Kevan Miller and Austin Miller, cousins of the bride, were ushers.
The reception was at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of Smithton High School.
The groom also is a 2011 graduate of Smithton High School. He is in the Marine Corps.
The couple live in Camp Pendleton.
