Rachael Ann Hudson, of Kansas City, and Jonathan Paul Heisterberg, of Blue Springs, were married at 3:30 p.m. July 7 at Faith Lutheran Church in Topeka, Kan.
The bride is the daughter of Hank and Jeanne Hudson, of Topeka. The groom is the son of Lloyd and Sheryl Heisterberg, of Sedalia.
The Rev. Wayne C. Schroeder, uncle of the groom, conducted the ceremony. Betty Ramsey was the organist.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Kelli Kirkeminde, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Christy Siebert and Rebecca Moss, sister of the groom, were bridesmaids. Annamarie Schroeder and Evelyn Schroeder, cousins of the groom, were flower girls. Gavin McComas, cousin of the bride, and Jaden Garrett, cousin of the groom, were candlelighters.
CJ Ketchum was the best man. Ryan Wagner and Ryan Hopper were groomsmen. Conner Kirkeminde, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Scott Hudson, brother of the bride, Cole Kirkeminde, brother-in-law of the bride, and Thomas Moss, brother-in-law of the groom, were ushers.
A rehearsal dinner was held by the parents of the groom on July 6 at the Top of the Tower in Topeka. The reception was at the Holiday Inn ballroom in Topeka.
The bride, a 2002 graduate of Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, received a bachelorís degree in occupational studies from the University of Kansas in Lawrence in 2006. She received a masterís degree in occupational therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City in 2008. She is an occupational therapist for Supplemental Health Care in Merriam, Kan.
The groom, a 2002 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, received an associate of arts degree from Crowder College in Neosho in 2004. He received a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Central Missouri in 2006. He is a financial representative at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Kansas City.
The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They live in Kansas City.
