Smith-Cotton High School juniors Riley Garner, left, and Amanda Gleason portray two of four students involved in a vehicle accident Thursday at the high school. They are pinned in the car and have be extricated after firefighters use the Jaws of Life to remove the roof of the car. The car in which they were passengers, slammed into a car driven by Spanish teacher Andrea Eppenauer, who portrayed herself as dying at the scene. The docu-drama mock crash was presented as a cautionary tale to Smith-Cotton High School students who are preparing for the school prom and graduation. "We tried to make this drama as real as we could," said Steve Triplett, the school's principal. "Make good, smart, educated choices," he told the students as he concluded the presentation in the Heckart Performing Arts building.
