June Hurt, 73, of California, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at Tipton Oak Manor.
She was born Feb. 21, 1934, in Bunceton, a daughter of Carl and Bonnie Carver Moore. On Dec. 18, 1953, in Bunceton, she was married to Joel Hurt, who died Oct., 20, 1996.
She was a sales clerk for Listers Department Store and was a seamstress at California Manufacturing. She was Methodist. She enjoyed gardening, painting and reading. She graduated from Bunceton High School in 1952.
Surviving are two sons, Kevin Hurt and Kyle Hurt, and his wife, Chris, all of California, Mo.; two daughters, Karen Donde, and her husband, Jeff, of Moorestown, N.J., and Kelly Arias, and her husband, Jamie, of Las Cruces, N.M.; a brother, Don Moore, of California, Mo., a sister, Arlene Wisner, of Tennessee; and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Service in California, Mo., with Jack Bowlin officiating. Burial will be in California City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
