Women's college basketball: Three Rivers 73, State Fair 60

The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners couldn’t overcome a 20-point second-half deficit Saturday in Poplar Bluff.

The Lady Raiders, who led 38-24 at halftime, extended that lead to 44-24 and beat State Fair 73-60.

Three Rivers’ perimeter shooting made a difference, sinking seven 3s compared to only one for the Lady Roadrunners, who fell to 17-6 overall and 3-3 in the region.

Macy Wright scored a game-high 20 points for the Lady Raiders (18-5, 4-3 Region 16).

Adella Randle-El, who had team highs of five steals and three assists, paced State Fair with 15 points. Mia Wesley and Apiphany Woods had 11 points each.
