Former Sedalian picked to lead Monticello chorus

Cindy Dunstan-McClain was recently named director of Monticello, an all-male chorus made up of approximately 30 male voices from mid-Missouri, particularly Jefferson City, Columbia and Eldon. Dunstan-McClain will also direct the combined male and female vocal ensemble, Victoria Chorale.

Dunstan-McClain resides in Osage Beach. She is the daughter of Janet Dunstan, of Sedalia, and Kenneth Dunstan, of Versailles.

She was the music director at State Fair Community College from 1990-2004. She also had music posts at Westminster College in Fulton and at Dominican University of California School for the Performing Arts in San Rafael, Calif.
