Prep boys basketball: Knob Noster 70, Lexington 31

Knob Noster routed Lexington 70-31 on Thursday in a Missouri River Valley Conference East home game.


The Panthers (18-7, 5-3) held quarter leads of 7-4, 24-14 and 50-24.


Brett Marsh paced Knob Noster with 19 points, Ryan Keckler added 18 and Aaron Hale notched 15. Keckler had six rebounds, Marsh and Hale each had four assists, and Marsh garnered four steals


For Lexington, Jevon Williams had 20 points and six rebounds.


The Panthers will face Summit Christian at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday in Higginsville in the district tournament.
