An Osage Beach man was arrested for careless and imprudent driving after a vehicle accident at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday in Moniteau County.

William C. Devine, 27, was driving south on state Route Y when he drove off the right side of the road and hit a fence, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Devine and a passenger in his vehicle, James R. Moad, 32, of Eugene, Ore., both refused medical treatment at the scene and it is unknown if either were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The report indicated that Devine was also charged with driving with a revoked license.

Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
