On Wednesday, Knob Noster had its highest team point total at the Missouri River Valley Conference Tournament since the conference went to nine teams.
The Panthers scored 13 points.
At No. 3 doubles, Charles Gardner and Garnett Williams took third place. The pair trailed Harrisonville 7-2 before rallying back to force a tiebreaker, which they trailed 6-0 before rallying again to win 8-6.
Cole Lankford also took third place, winning his third-place match 9-7 in a tiebreaker.
No. 1 singles player Kyle Zimmerschied and No. 3 Jared Yates took fourth. Zimmerschied and Lankford teamed up to place third at No. 1 doubles.
After the conference meet, the Panthers took the court again for a dual meet with Carrollton and came away with a 5-1 win.
Zimmerschied beat Bryan Phillips 8-3 at No. 1 singles. Lankford beat Ethan Swyres 8-4 at No. 2 singles. Yates picked up an 8-2 win at No. 3 singles over Ian Cauble.
Knob Nosterís doubles teams of Yates and Seth Templeton and Gardner and Williams also won their matches.
The Panthers (8-3, 5-3 MRVC) will open district play at Clinton on Wednesday.
