Sedalia man faces drug charges

A Sedalia man was arrested Tuesday after officers found meth and marijuana in his home.

According to Sedalia Police Department reports, at 8:14 p.m. officers with the SPD’s STING Unit served a search warrant at a home in the 1800 block of South Sneed Avenue and found meth, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and drug packaging materials.

The residence’s owner, David J. Dotson, 31, was arrested and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance with intent to distribute. He is currently being held at the Pettis County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
