I heard the report that all of New England has gone gay, at least legislatively.
Gay couples can now become man and wife or is it wife and man, who knows? There was a time, however, when all of New England had gone Gospel. They heard the great truths of the Bible and shook. God raised up great preachers like Edwards, Whitefield, and others. Their voices thundered and echoed across the countryside and the people were stunned. Although they had a form of religion, they did not know the power thereof. Many turned to God through repentance and faith in Christ and Him alone.
The nation was transformed.
Well, New England and much of the country has certainly dimmed their lights in this day and age. We are living in dark times and it looks like they are growing darker by the minute. Sin is the great norm and the in-thing. We must be politically correct and not only tolerate it, but endorse it.
America is in trouble and I mean big trouble. Not with ourselves, for we allow for anything, no matter how unseemly.
We are in trouble with God, who rules and reigns and judges the nations. It is (still) a terrifying thing (and always will be) to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:31).
