Northwest 64, Calvary Lutheran 36

Northwest won their second round game of the Pilot Grove Tournament Wednesday night 64-36 against Calvary Lutheran.

Jessi Zimmerman led the Mustangs with 27 points and three rebounds, and Lakota Wiskur had 13 points and 15 rebounds. Kendall Walk added nine points and five rebounds, Alyssa Durrill had five points and nine rebounds, and Hanna Gregory added four points and four rebounds.

La Monte 32, Leeton 30
La Monte won against Leeton 32-30 Wednesday night in the Mid State Conference Tournament.
“We were slow on defense and not guarding aggressively,” said La Monte coach Manuel Lujan. “Offensively we couldn’t get into a flow with anything. I think a lot of it was simply overlooking Leeton because we beat them last year, and the girls thought it was going to be an easy win.”
The Lady Vikings will play in the tournament’s championship match at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Warsaw 19, Buffalo 91
Warsaw fell to Buffalo Wednesday night with a final score of 19-91. Buffalo led 55-11 going into halftime.
Jessica Kuykendall led Warsaw with nine points.
