Hettie Holliday will celebrate her 102nd birthday with cake and ice cream at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at Lincoln Community Nursing Home. The event is hosted by her family and Lincoln personnel.
She was born Jan. 21, 1912, in Cooper County.
She loves reading and games.
Her children are Wayne and Bev Spry and Janis Lilly. She has two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to the celebration at the Lincoln Community Nursing home, 205 Timberline Dr., Room 408, Lincoln, Mo. 65338. Hettie requests no gifts.
Allen “Dean” Embry will celebrate his 82nd birthday Jan. 22.
He was born Jan 22, 1932, in Clarksburg.
He was married to to the late Shirley Embry.
He was an insurance salesman.
He has three children, Gordon Embry, of Tipton, and Allen Embry and Nancy Embry, both of Sedalia; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
