Third quarter lifts Applewood Christian

Applewood Christian beat Lebanon Homeschool 51-27 on Thursday.


Applewood Christian led 16-7 after one quarter before Lebanon closed the gap to 24-21 at halftime., 41-26


“We pressed to open the game, took the press off and they hit a few shots and came back,” said coach Tom Crosier.


Applewood Christian pressed again in the third quarter and outscored Lebanon 16-5 in the third.


Miranda Crosier had 19 points, seven rebounds and six steals. Meredith Crosier had 17 points, 15 rebounds and four blocked shots.


Applewood Christian (12-4) will host Springfield Rush on Tuesday.
