Ashley Rose Henderson, of Sedalia, and Jonathan Dale Sleeper, of Sedalia, were married at 4 p.m. June 29, 2013, at the Highway Gardens on the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Barbara Henderson, of Sedalia. The groom is the son of Gary Sleeper, of Sedalia, and Brenda Tippie, of Sedalia.
The Rev. Jim Downing conducted the ceremony. The bride was given marriage by her parents. Gwen Kappelman, Barbara Schrader, Helen Coffelt, Elizabeth Kehl and Julie Willadsen were the musicians.
Anna Ramirez was the matron of honor. Kate Schroeder, Ashley Buck and Stephanie Hoffa were the bridesmaids.
Josh Sleeper and Daniel Sleeper, both brothers of the groom, were the best men. Josh Moore and Ben Bohanon were groomsmen. Justin Metzner and Caleb Rothganger were the ushers.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s mother at her home on June 28. It was catered by Country Bumpkin Catering of Sedalia.
A wedding reception was hosted at Missouri’s Electric Cooperatives Building on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
The bride graduated in 2003 from Smith-Cotton High School and received a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education in 2008 from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. She is a first grade teacher at Parkview Elementary School in Sedalia.
The groom graduated in 2003 from Smith-Cotton High School. He works at Sierra Bullets in Sedalia.
After a honeymoon to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple will live in Sedalia.
