Nicole Cooke | Democrat From left, Joe Webster, Alexis Hanlon and John Smothers, all members of Teens Make a Difference, volunteer at the soup table during the Irish Potato Bake on Monday at St. Patrick Church. The event raised money for the group’s outreach programs, which include volunteering at the Community Cafe, the Sedalia Animal Shelter and stream clean ups. The students also have opportunities to hang out together such as outings to Clover Dell Park and bike rides on the Katy Trail.
