He was born April 4, 1939, in Fortuna.
John is married to Alice Morrison, of Sedalia.
He was a factory worker at Waterloo Industries and loves family get-togethers, traveling, fishing, woodworking, hunting, making antique fish lures and is active in helping the Boy Scouts.
He has four children, Stacey Lindsey, of Columbia, and Rick Morrison, John Morrison and Gail Walker, all of Sedalia; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Pittman celebrated her 85th birthday April 5.
She was born April 5, 1929, in Missouri.
Dorothy was married to the late Bill Pittman.
She was a secretary for an insurance company and she loves traveling, embroidery, reading, puzzles, word searches, bingo, and is a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
She has one child, James Pittman, of Sedalia; and one grandchild.
Elizabeth Jaegers will celebrate her 83rd birthday April 9.
She was born April 9, 1931, in Lebanon.
Elizabeth was married to the late Hank Duchone.
She was a nurse and teacher and loves knitting, bingo, cards, the flower club and flower arrangements.
She has one child, Jacques Duchone, of Sedalia; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Emma Brockschmidt will celebrate her 96th birthday April 10.
She was born April 10, 1918, in Ionia.
Emma was married to the late Albert Brockschmidt.
She worked at Lamy’s Manufacturing for 28 years and she loves sewing and gardening.
Emma has three children, Marvin Brockschmidt, of Olathe, Kan., and Erma Davis and Mildred Ashbrook, both of Sedalia; four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Emily Ann Viets will celebrate her 90th birthday April 7.
She was born in 1924, in Cole Camp.
Emily Ann was married to the late Gene Viets.
She received her undergraduate degree form Drury University and her masters degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a homemaker and taught piano lessons for many years in her home. She is an excellent seamstress, cook and pianist.
Emily Ann has two children, Mary McIntosh, of Sedalia, and Jane Leis, of Kansas City; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
