SFCC honors retirees, employee service milestones

State Fair Community College recognized retiring employees and those reaching service milestones at a May 8 banquet at the Mo-Ag Theatre on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

Shonna Dady, coordinator II for the Copy Center and Mailroom, will retire in June after 32 years at SFCC. Dady received an AAS degree from SFCC in 1982 and received the SFCC Sizzle award in 2009 and the Missouri Community College Association Classified Staff Achievement award in 2010.

Jackie Aldridge, administrative assistant II for TRiO STEPS (Students in TRiO for Educational Preparation and Success) retired in April after almost 10 years at SFCC. She received an AA degree from SFCC and received the Missouri College Personal Association Outstanding Support Staff award in 2011.

Five years — Cara Barth-Fagan, Amy Carr, Linda Church, Sara Dunn, Amanda Fisher, Angie Gentry, Crissina Kemp, Cheryl Landers, Dawn Macklin, Kelly Russell, Amy Schroeder.

10 years — Jackie Aldridge, Shirley Bergeson, Sonya Bowman, Kevin Bucher, Stan Carter, Courtney Moon, Dana Page, Kathy Rumsey, Stacie Wild.

15 years — Ross Blankenship, Shiela Bunker, Cathy Clements, Rena Galloway, Steve Kucynda, Rick McBride, Julie Mills, Patty Morrison, Toni Walter, Vickie Weaver, Dan Williams.

20 years — Patty Dump, Kevin Haulotte, Stacey Klein, Jim Page, Carolyn Starke, Mary Anna Townsend.

25 years — Polly Grapes.

30 years — Bret Appleton, Kent Harbit.

35 years — Lisa Shoemaker.
