Butler-Rumsey wedding
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Lacey Irvin, of Butler, and Jake Rumsey, of Lee’s Summit, were married at 3 p.m. Oct. 10 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lee’s Summit.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Linda Irvin, of Freeman. The groom is the son of Mike Rumsey and Martha Phillips, both of Sedalia.
The Rev. Chuck Arney conducted the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Stephanie Scott was the matron of honor. Janessa Dyer and Michele McCartney were bridesmaids. Emalea McNelly, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Erik West was the best man. Shawn Jones and Ryan Cobb were groomsmen. Luke McNelly, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Jason Konruf and Bryan Ring were ushers.
A rehearsal dinner was held on Oct. 9 at the church. The reception was also at the church.
The bride, a 2001 graduate of Cass-Midway High School in Cleveland, Mo., works in receiving at the Wal-Mart distribution center in Harrisonville.
The groom, a 1999 graduate of Green Ridge High School, is an order filler at the Wal-Mart distribution center in Harrisonville.
The couple honeymooned in Colorado. They live in Butler.
