Stone to observe 60th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. L. J. “Bud” Stone, of Sedalia, will observe their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.
 

Lucille “Lucy” Kempf and L .J. Stone were married Oct. 22, 1949, at St. Joseph Church in Pilot Grove.

Mr. Stone retired the U.S. Postal Service in Sedalia. Mrs. Stone worked at Sacred Heart High School, before she retired. 

They have four children, Linda Fay, of Vancouver, Wash., Marcia Struble, John Stone and Karen Stone, all of Sedalia; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The couple request no gifts.
