Three girls injured in ATV accident

A 12-year-old and two 13-year-old girls suffered minor injuries in an all-terrain-vehicle accident in Benton County Sunday, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.

Injured in the accident were Lindsay R. Pierce, 13, of Lincoln, and Chyanne M. Popp, 12, and Randi L. Stark, 13, both of Warsaw. The three children were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment and released, a spokesman said.

The accident occurred at 5:11 p.m. on Route TT, four miles west of Route T on private property.

Stark was driving the ATV, which struck a tree. All three girls were thrown from the vehicle, the patrol said.
