Versailles teen injured in accident

A teenager was injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Morgan County, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Anthony R. Piercy, 17, of Versailles, was taken by ambulance to Lake Regiona Health System in Osage Beach, according to the patrol.
The accident occurred at 3:10 p.m. on Missouri Route 5 about a mile south of state Route P. Piercy drove his northbound sport utility vehicle off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and then skidded off the left side. His vehicle overturned and hit a tree, the patrol reported.
