Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ackerman, of Sedalia, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a dinner and dance, hosted by Angie and Keith Van Natta, on Saturday in Sedalia.
Carol Twenter and Gary Ackerman were married Nov. 21, 1969, at Smithton United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Jerry Moon.
They are both retired.
They have a daughter, Angie Van Natta, of Springfield.
