Raymond L. Aggeler, Boonville
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Raymond Laurence Aggeler, 99, of Boonville, died Monday, May 12, 2008, at Lakeview Health Care & Rehab Center in Boonville.
He was born Sept. 2, 1908, in Cooper County, a son of Henry and Agnes Esser Aggeler.
In 1936, he started R.L. Aggeler Coal & Fertilizer Co. in Boonville. He later worked for Hall & Riley Quarry in Boonville. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove.
Surviving are a brother, Emil Aggeler, of Kansas City; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Cecilia Gerard; and a brother, Leroy Aggeler.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove, with the Rev. Vince Aggeler and the Rev. Tom Seifner officiating. Pallbearers will be Larry Schupp, Jerry Schupp, Kevin Roth, David Neville, Jerome Wirths and Norbert Schuster. Burial will be in St. Martin’s Cemetery near Boonville. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
