Martin-McDonald engagement

John and Lillian Breshears, of Blackwater, announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Martin, of Beebe, Ark., to Chris McDonald. He is the son of Deborah and Fred Willoughby, of Cabot, Ark., and Philip and Teresa McDonald, of North Little Rock, Ark.

The future bride, a 1986 graduate of Northwest High School, received an associate of applied science degree in criminal justice from Arkansas State University in Beebe, Ark., in 2008. She is a self-employed photographer and breeder of Yorkshire terriers.

The future groom, a 2000 graduate of Bryant High School in Bryant, Ark., is an asset protection specialist for Home Depot in Little Rock, Ark.

A June 20 wedding is planned at Cabot Masonic Lodge in Cabot, Ark.
