Baptist association sponsoring adult vacation Bible school

Harmony Baptist Association is sponsoring their 19th Adult Vacation Bible School for adults of all ages and any denomination. The first session will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at New Hope Baptist Church, 664 E. 16th St. 

Sonya Smith, a member of New Hope, will lead the Bible Study; the Rev. Bill Talley, pastor of Green Ridge Baptist Church, will lead the music; and Connie Edwards, secretary at First Baptist Church, will share about her trip to Israel during the Special Feature. 

There will be a fellowship time with refreshments and an offering will be received each Thursday for “There Is Hope” and “Meals on Wheels.”

Additional sessions will be held Sept. 4, 11, 18, and 25.
