Barbara Combs, California, Mo.

Barbara Combs, 70, California, Mo., died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City. 


She was born Nov. 7, 1937, in Hopkinsville, Ky., a daughter of Rudolph Burgess and Erlene Chester. On March 5, 1955, in Georgia, she was married to William R. Combs Jr., who died June, 21, 2006.


She was a homemaker. 


Surviving are a son, William W. Combs, of California, Mo.; two daughters, Debbie McNeely and Teresa Skouby, both of Eldon; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.


Private family services will be at a later date. 


Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California.
