Judge Donald L. and Carol A. Barnes, of Sedalia, will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary with dinner and a musical at the Lyceum Theater in Arrow Rock with their children.

Carol Smith and Donald Barnes were married June 14, 1964, at Stone Church in Independence.

They have two sons, D. Gregory Barnes, of Lee’s Summit, and Mark E. Barnes, of Los Angeles; and a granddaughter.

Judge Barnes, former presiding circuit judge for Pettis and Cooper counties, continues to serve as senior circuit judge in Pettis and surrounding counties.

Mrs. Barnes is a retired music teacher and private vocal coach who remains active in church and musical activities.
