Lindsey and Alex Birnie, of Sedalia, became the parents of a son, Alexander Maddux, born Nov. 23, 2009, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces.
The maternal grandparents are Earl and Gisela Crouch, of Sedalia.
The paternal grandparents are Alex and Debra Birnie, of Sedalia.
The paternal great-grandparents are Alex and Elisabeth Birnie, of Irmo, S.C. Jackson Hazel and Adaleigh Hazel, both of Sedalia, are his siblings.
