July 9

12:07 p.m.: Latreal L. Grant, 28, of the 700 block of North Quincy Avenue, on a charge of assault.

3:20 p.m.: A credit card was used without permission in the 900 block of Westwood Avenue.

July 9
9:41 a.m.: A green and black boys bicycle was stolen from a home in the 100 block of East 11th Street.

July 8

5:54 p.m.: Deputies and firefighters responded to the area behind the 2800 block of Whitney Drive to extinguish a fire on some round hay bales. The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the fire.

July 8

11:38 p.m.: Christopher R. Blaylock, 26, of the 700 block of East Third Street, at South Kentucky Avenue and West Third Street on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving without proof of insurance.
