Jan. 24

5 p.m.: Jesus R. Valadez-Garcia, 25, of the 900 block of Griffith Avenue, in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard, on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

7:34 p.m.: Donald L. Higginbotham Jr., 30, of the 500 block of West Sixth Street, at West Sixth Street and South Missouri Avenue, on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

9:55 p.m.: Shawna M. Ivy, 21, of the 1500 block of East Fourth Street, at East 14th Street and South Ingram Avenue, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 23

1:34 p.m.: $100 worth of jewelry and other items were taken from a residence in the 300 block of East Boonville Street.

Jan. 24
7 a.m.: A total of $6,000 was stolen over a period of months from a business in the 600 block of South Osage Avenue.

7:15 a.m.: Four hubcaps were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of North Park Avenue.

8 p.m.: Several unspecified items were taken from a residence in the 400 block of East 14th Street.

8:17 p.m.: Several unspecified items were taken from a building site in the 27000 block of Highway U.

4:28 a.m.: An assault occurred at East Fourth Street and South Engineer Avenue.

6:01 p.m.: Nikita N. Kirk, 22, of Osceola, in Henry County, on charges including driving with a suspended license.

6:29 p.m.: Matthew T. Isom, 25, of Fulton, in Saline County, on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 25
1:30 a.m.: Jerry G. Link, 51, of Warrensburg, in Johnson County, on charges including driving while intoxicated.

11:34 a.m.: Robert D. Jones, 42, of Cole Camp, in Benton County, on charges of driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, driving with a revoked license and failure to provide insurance.
