Lloyd O. Bradley, Versailles
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Lloyd O. Bradley, 84, of Versailles, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 26, 2008, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born June 29, 1923, in Sedalia, a son of Owen and Ruby Bowlin Bradley. On Sept. 19, 1942, in Sedalia, he was married to Dolly Rayl, who survives of the home.
He retired from General Motors, after 30 years of service. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He loved traveling, camping, fishing and mowing the lawn. He especially enjoyed running his boat up and down the lake earning the nickname “Runner”.
Also surviving are three sons, Larry Bradley, and his wife, Norma, and Rick Bradley, all of Versailles, and Jim Bradley, and his wife, Marla, of Lone Jack; a sister, Betty Dittmer, of Sedalia; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his stepmother Bertrice West; and a sister, Imogene Martin.
A celebration of life service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with the Rev. Rod Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
