Keele-Lakin wedding

Brandi Keele and Anthony Lakin, both of Kansas City, were married at 5 p.m. June 14 at Bristle Ridge Vineyard and Winery in Montserrat.

The bride is the daughter of Ernie Keele, Bill and Glenda Gould and Michael and Renee Demand, all of Sedalia. The groom is the son of Steve Lakin, of Warsaw, and Tina Butler, of Riverside.

The Rev. Bruce Morgan conducted the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Jennifer Burch was the matron of honor. Christy Schumaker, sister of the bride, Angie Shireman, Kristen Lewis, Teresa Dillon, Cari Schmidt, Colleen Gilbertson and Brandi Bolander were bridesmaids. Corene Keele, daughter of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid. Ava Coons, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl. K-Lynn Keele, niece of the bride, and Quinton Dagget, cousin of the groom, were candlelighters.

Larry Coons, uncle of the groom, was the best man. Toby Coons and Cody Wheat, cousins of the groom, Nick Butler, uncle of the groom, Jason Allinder, Ted Beltz and Nick Allinder were groomsmen. Drake Keele, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Billy and Barry Keele, brothers of the bride, and Brent Jones, cousin of the groom, were ushers.

A rehearsal dinner was held by Steve Lakin and Tina Butler on June 13 at the Red Apple. The reception was at the Sedalia Moose Lodge.

The bride, a 1996 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Park University in Parkville in 2000. She is an analyst for Sprint-Nextel in Overland Park, Kan.

The groom, a 1995 graduate of North Kansas City High School, owns All About Paint and Tile in Kansas City.

The couple took a honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They live in Kansas City.
