Files-Rogers wedding
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Kelly Jean Files and Michael Conn Rogers, both of Kansas City, were married at 4 p.m. Oct. 25, 2008, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Cory Files, of Brookfield. The groom is the son of Kathy and James Rogers, of Liberty.
The groom was a vocalist. The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
The Rev. Bruce Trussell conducted the ceremony.
Kattie M. Worman, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Jessica Green, cousin of the bride, Natalie Howe, Mindy Ragan and Joy Dale were bridesmaids. Hannah Green, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
Brandon Burns was the best man. Nelson Muller, Caleb Muller, Matt Hill and Daniel Worman, brother-in-law of the bride, were groomsmen. Brian Young and Jason Parker were ushers. Taylor Rogers, brother of the groom, was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chillicothe.
The bride, a graduate of Meadville High School and Missouri Western University in St. Joseph, is an expanded functions orthodontic assistant at Dr. Ed Kavanaugh Orthodontics.
The groom, a graduate of Oak Park High School and MCC Blue River Fire Academy in Independence, works in youth services for the state of Missouri.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica. They live in Kansas City.
