Yates-Ewigman wedding

Laquetta Yates, of Sedalia, and Glenn Ewigman, of Brookfield, were married at 11 a.m. June 7 at St. Bonaventure Church in Marceline.

The bride is the daughter of the late Eugene and Ollie Renner. The groom is the son of James and Deloris Ewigman, of Marceline.

The Rev. Jerry Kaimann conducted the ceremony. Jean Finke was the pianist.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Christopher Renner.

Tammy Reynolds, cousin of the bride, was the matron of honor. McKenzie Ewigman, niece of the groom, was a candlelighter.

Dave Lindbloom was the best man. Jordan Crews, godson of the bride, and Max Ewigman, nephew of the groom, were ring bearers.

The reception was at Father McCarten School in Marceline.

The bride graduated from high school in Maryville, Kan., in 1978. She received a degree in music education from St. Mary of the Plains College in 1983. She worked at Sacred Heart School from 1983 to May 2008. She will be working at Brookfield Elementary School in the fall.

The groom, a 1983 graduate of Marceline High School, is a conductor for the Northfolk/Southern Railroad.

The couple live in Brookfield.
