Washington bridge over tracks needs to be rebuilt

I was down to the city at their work session Jan. 30 about the Washington street bridge. The man from Olsson would not talk to me about the bridge. He talked to three people there about it — not to me.

Sept. 26, 2011, in the mayor’s conference room, I showed them a picture of the Washington street bridge. That it was not safe, but Councilman Ken Norton said he would not talk to me. He said that Olsson said the bridge was safe to drive on.

Then Dec. 7, 2011, they closed Washington bridge. All of the money spent on it was gone. The Washington street bridge is around the center of the north side of Sedalia, north of the Union Pacific Railroad.

Rebuild Washington street bridge where it is. In 2009, I ran for second ward councilman. Now I might run for mayor in 2014. Sedalia needs someone that will talk for them. Sedalia is my town.
