Burns anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Don Burns, of Sedalia, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception, held by her children and grandchildren, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 20 at New Hope Baptist Church.

Sharon Munsterman and Don Burns were married Sept. 20, 1958, at Versailles Methodist Church, by the Rev. Raymond Rumbo.

Mr. Burns worked in the concrete business and retired in 1999. Mrs. Burns retired from Bothwell Regional Health Center in 1999.

They have four children, Mitch Burns, of Cole Camp, Brenda Stutler, of Osceola, Lisa Laughery, of Sedalia, and Jason Burns, of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited to the celebration. The couple request no gifts.
