4 people injured when bus hits car in Johnson County
Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Friday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a school bus driven by Ronald D. Scarbrough, 65, of Centerview, was turning north onto NW 251 Road from northbound U.S. Highway 50 at 3:25 p.m. when it pulled into the path of a 1993 Acura Legend driven by Brandon Clark, 19, of Raymore.
Clark and his passenger, Jordan A. Smith, 20, of Peculiar, had moderate injuries and were transported to Centerpoint Medical Center by emergency medical services.
Two bus passengers, Brenna Schmidli, 12, of Centerview, and Kelsey Sivils, 11, of Centerview, had minor injuries and left the scene via private vehicles.
The car passengers were wearing seat belts. The bus did not have seat belts.
