Harrell-Carson wedding
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Cendy Harrell and Jim Carson, both of Sedalia, were married at 6 p.m. June 5 at First United Methodist Church Celebration Center.
The bride is the daughter of Leonard Layton, of Licking, and the late Louise Layton.The groom is the son of Gary and Kay Diltz, of Panorama, Calif.
The Rev. Jim Downing Jr. conducted the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her sons, Alex and Andrew Harrell.
Haleigh and Aimee Carson, daughters of the groom, were the bride’s attendants. LeeAnn Stilley, niece of the bride, was a candlelighter.
Daniel Menning, son of the groom, was the best man. Alex and Andrew Harrell were groomsmen.
The reception was at the couple’s home.
The bride, a 1980 graduate of Licking High School, received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Central Missouri State University in 1984. She received a master’s degree in criminal justice administration from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Ky., in 2004. She is a CSI module coordinator for the Boys and Girls
Clubs of West Central Missouri.
The groom, a 1982 graduate of James Monroe High School in Sepulveda, Calif., is self-employed.
The couple plan to honeymoon in Hershey, Pa., at a later date. They live in Sedalia.
