Alan R. Carver, Lincoln
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Alan Ray Carver, 59, of Lincoln, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, at University Hospital in Columbia.
He was born July 25, 1948, in Artesia, Calif., a son of Paul and Esther Tipton Carver.
He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Carver, of the home; a son, Roger Carver, and his wife, Olga, of California; a daughter, Michelle Andreason, and her husband, Mike, of California; two stepsons, Brian Bartley, of Lincoln, and Troy Bartley, currently serving in Iraq; five grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, a sister and a brother.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Davis-Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday. There will be no visitation.
