This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. The information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests
May 7
11:10 a.m.: Kristain J. Ford, 26, of the 1400 block of South Carr Avenue, on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

3:05 p.m.: Domenic R. Knop, of the 1100 block of West Second Street, on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

6:57 p.m.: Chastity M. Wolfenbarger, 17, of Clinton, at J.C. Penney at 3159 W. Broadway Blvd. on a charge of stealing.

6:57 p.m.: Hillary D. Branell, 17, of Clinton, at J.C. Penney at 3159 W. Broadway Blvd. on a charge of stealing.

6:53 p.m.: Porter N. White, 49, of Vermont Avenue, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Incidents
May 7
5:22 p.m.: A driver’s license and social security card were stolen from a resident of the 1000 block of West Third Street.

12:03 p.m.: Two people obtained a schedule three prescription drug from the Plaza West Pharmacy at 3330 W. 10th St. using false identification.

1:28 p.m.: The front tab of a license plate was taken off of a vehicle parked on the 2100 block of East Seventh Street.

1:16 p.m.: About 32 pills of Percocet and $200 in cash were stolen from a vehicle parked on the north side of Bing’s parking lot at 1400 S. Limit Ave.

9:42 p.m.: Shots were fired at a home on the 300 block of East John Street. No one was injured.

8:41 p.m.: A wooden fence was damaged on the 100 block of East Broadway Boulevard.

3:27 p.m.: A home on the 400 block of North Grand Avenue was broken into and several Xanax, Flexeril and hydrocodone pills were taken.

May 7
8 a.m.: A resident of the 18000 block of Fowler Road in La Monte reported that someone used her credit card line without her permission.

Missouri State Highway Patrol
Arrests
8:18 p.m.: Christopher A. Gardner, 49, of the 200 block of South Grand Avenue, on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
