Amy and Jon Close, of Green Ridge, became the parents of a son, Michael Vincent, born Dec. 26, 2011, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces.
The maternal grandparents are Randy and Gloria Klein, of Mora. The maternal great-grandparents are Don and Juanita Klein, of Smithton, and the late Bob and Dorthy Pfeiffer.
The paternal grandparents are Mike and Terrie Close, of Green Ridge. The paternal great-grandparents are Evelyn Close, of Green Ridge, and the late Harlan “Bud” Close and Gareld and Ila Volpp.
