Kesterson graduates from Smith-Cotton
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Jacqueline Kesterson, of Sedalia, graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in May after completing three years of high school.
She was a member of Student Council all three years. She was an class officer her freshman year. She was in the A-plus program and was a member of the French Club, Art Club and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.
She accumulated 320 hours of volunteer work her junior year. She helped with eye screenings for the Lions Club, worked at the Salvation Army store, rang the bell at Christmas, helped with the sweetheart ball and worked at the Community Cafe. She also painted windows for businesses in Sedalia.
She is listed in “Who’s Who Among American High School Students.” She finished high school with an 11.625 grade point average, based on an 11-point scale. She plans to major in business at State Fair Community College in the fall.
She is the daughter of Jeff and Julie Kesterson, of Sedalia. She is the granddaughter of Jean Kesterson, of Sedalia, Arlene Hibbard, of Lena, Ill., and the late John Kesterson and Joseph Hibbard.
