Cole to celebrate 89th birthday

The Rev. Farrie L. Cole Jr., of Warrensburg, will celebrate his 89th birthday with family at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg.
He was born July 13, 1920, in Otterville. He was married to Madelyn Cox, who died in 2001.
He preached at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Russellville for 45 years. After he retired, he was an interim pastor at several other local churches.
He enjoys visiting with family and friends at the Veterans Home.
He has two children, Mark Cole, of Otterville, and Marla Brooks, of Ellenboro, N.C.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
