Jeffrey C. Morarity, Cole Camp
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Jeffrey Christopher Morarity, 41, of Cole Camp, died Monday, May 12, 2008, at his home.
He was born Nov. 8, 1966, in Kansas City, a son of Charles and Lynn Schnakenberg Morarity.
He was baptized Nov. 24, 1966, and confirmed on April 12, 1981, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp. He was a 1985 graduate of Cole Camp High School. He had been a mechanic at Guy’s Neighborhood Garage in Lee’s Summit and W-K Chevrolet in Cole Camp. He enjoyed collecting, restoring and driving his muscle cars and his pickup. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends.
Surviving are his parents, of Cole Camp; a sister, Katrina Zimmer, of Cole Camp; his grandparents, J. A. and Arlene Schnakenberg, of Cole Camp; and a nephew, Zachary Zimmer, of Cole Camp.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, James J. and Marguerite Morarity.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, with the Rev. Todd Kollbaum and the Rev. James Schnackenberg officiating. Pallbearers will be Cristin Fox, David Mann, John Craig, Chris Craig, Jim Perkins, Leroy Perkins, Todd Zimmer, Mark Simon, Sam Smasal, Tony Smasal, Lane Parks, Brian Heimsoth, Tim Honeycutt, Robert Brunjes, and Pat Brauer. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Cole Camp. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Lutheran School Association, in care of Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp.
