Time to register for ASE test

The tests will be given in the Heckart Science and Allied Health Center. Participants may report at 6:45 p.m.; tests begin at 7 p.m.

People may register online at www.ase.com or call toll free at 1-866-427-3273. The registration fee is $32. Testing fees are $27 for regular, $54 for advanced and a maximum of $71 for recertification. SFCC’s testing center ID is No. 5471.

ASE tests are offered four times each year in traditional paper-and-pencil and computer-based testing. The SFCC test is traditional.

Score reports will be mailed about four weeks after completion of the test session.

ASE credentials will be mailed a few weeks later to mechanics who pass and have satisfied the work experience requirement.
