The 11th annual Support Your Troops event and Freedom Walk will be Sept. 11 on the south lawn of the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City.

Registration for the walk begins at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free. The walk will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The Support Your Troops event will be from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m.

Accredited veteran service officers will be available to assist veterans with claims from 3:30 to 6 p.m.
